Meet our Doctors

Dr. Marc Verpoorte received a BSc. from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, as well as a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie’s Faculty of Dentistry.

Dr. Marc enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and is a member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).

When not working, he enjoys time spent with family, including wife Christine and children Jacob and Kathleen, as well as his friends, and his four dogs.

Dr. Dave Kim is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario’s Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is a member of several dental associations and organizations, including the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and the Ontario Dental Association. He is also a fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Kim enjoys complicated surgeries, extractions, and restoration work, as well as cosmetic and implant dentistry.

Dr. Kim and his wife Kate, have two children, Elijah and Joshua. In his spare time, he enjoys basketball, dancing, martial arts, and running.

Dr. John Yun graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Association of Dentists

Dr. Yun is dedicated to patient care and enjoys wisdom teeth extractions, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and interceptive (early) orthodontics.

Dr. Yun and his wife Jean have a daughter Edele, and a son, Marcus. When not working, he enjoys singing, sculpting and kickboxing.

Dr. Ken Wong received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario’s Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. He received additional training at the Hospital for Sick Children and the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.

While in school, Dr. Wong developed a passion for helping children who have a fear of the dentist and he continues to work on techniques and methods for putting younger patients at ease.

Dr. Wong enjoys giving back to his community and doing volunteer work. He gives his time and services to “Kindness in Action” in Ecuador, and at the Scarborough Urban Dental Clinic, a dental clinic for low income residents.

In his spare time, he loves being with his family and friends, community building, exercising, and playing soccer.

Dr. Ray Han is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario’s Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry.

He has continued to upgrade his skills through intensive courses in orthodontics, implantology, oral surgery, and oral sedation.

Dr. Han enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is especially keen on encouraging patients to work with him and partake in preventative care.

Dr. Perley Weaver
After receiving a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton in 1988 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax in 1992, Dr. Weaver has been helping patients receive the best dental treatment and care for the past 25 years.

He began his career with the Armed Forces Dental Services at the Canadian Forces Bases Shilo and Gagetown. In 2014 he, his wife and youngest son moved from New Brunswick to Trenton to be closer to his wife’s family.

Dr. Weaver and his wife have three children whom they are forever proud of including their oldest son who teaches in China, a daughter in the military in Edmonton and their youngest son whom has autism that just graduated from high school this past school year.

While not in the office, Dr. Weaver and his wife love to travel, ride their Harleys and ballroom dancing. He also enjoys reading, golfing and loyally watching the Habs play.
